Juneau resident Randy Eichholtz, 53, died March 28, 2002, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
He was born Feb. 14, 1949, in Morenci, Ariz. In 1966, he joined the U.S. Navy and served until 1972. He married his wife, Wanda, in 1976 in California. They moved to Juneau in 1987.
He worked at Lewis Motors as service manager and at Airport Union station as a mechanic. He then worked at Rent-a-Wreck and recently owned and operated R.E. Repair.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Eichholtz, and his mother, Iva Eichholtz Horner.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Wanda; stepfather Fred Horner, Las Cruces, N.M.; daughters Rhonda Brockman, Juneau; Cheryl Dye, Arkansas; Edwina Hilliker, California; Debbie Trentham, Oregon, and Lisa Poe, North Carolina; and 10 grandchildren and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at Juneau Christian Center, 8001 Glacier Hwy. across from Fred Meyer, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Pallbearers will be Red Holloway, Mike Holloway, Scott Damian, George Damian, Clif Conrad, Doug Wren, Fernando Orozco, Alex Orozco, Chuck Churchill, Dana Ritter and Mike Stuart.
