Gov't doesn't listen

Letter to the editor

Government today is working under the idea that absolute power is easily within their grasp, so why not take it? They've got control of the military, our money, and everything else. Why waste time on morality? Who cares about our founding fathers; after all, they've been dead for 200 years? What can the people actually do beside complain? They don't have to listen. Nobody pays attention to what we vote on when it comes to initiatives. If they don't like the results, they do what they want anyway. Don't forget, we also voted down the aerial wolf hunt. Now I hear that the ferry system is being manipulated to further promote the "necessity" of that ridiculous road they are so determined to build.
