I personally do not smoke marijuana, but the actions that the current administration have been taking is almost laughable. No one disputes that marijuana is harmful to the human body; this is a fact. But how can they spend our dollars trying to convince us that a substance is harmful when it is legal to consume alcohol? How many deaths a year are directly related to alcohol consumption, due to crimes, overdoses and driver related incidents? How many deaths are related to a diet of McDonald's? Maybe we should criminalize hamburgers and fries? I am not supporting marijuana; all I ask is for you to consider the motives (federal funding?) and reasoning.
