Burglary:
At 6:38 a.m., a 60-year-old man reported damage, estimated at $650, to a business in the 4700 block of Douglas Highway.
A burglary was reported at 10:08 p.m. in the 4900 block of Wren Drive. No further details were reported.
Vandalism:
At 7:34 a.m., a 52-year-old man reported that the front window of his 1988 Fork PK was broken on Egan Drive. Damage was estimated at $500.
Vandals caused $200 in damage to a building in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard, according to a report at 2:13 p.m.
Theft:
Police received a report at 8:58 a.m. that a Dooney and Burke purse worth $400, a Franklin Covey briefcase worth $150 and a Jansport backpack worth $50 were taken from a locked vehicle on the 2800 block of John Street.
A 60-year-old man told police that a $300 Pioneer stereo and CD player was taken from a vehicle on the 4700 block of Douglas Highway. Damage to the vehicle was reported at $100.
A 35-year-old woman reported at 12:08 p.m. that her Razor cell phone and light blue leather case had been stolen in the 2200 block of Trout Street. The total value was $299.
At 12:36 p.m., a 60-year-old man reported the theft of a $3,500 Alienware computer from his unlocked vehicle in the 3000 block of Douglas Highway.
Domestic violence:
A 22-year-old man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault at 5:02 p.m. in the 1600 block of Renninger Street.
