The Juneau Police Department inaccurately reported to the Empire in its daily bulletin that the 73-year-old driver of a Lexus was cited for failing to maintain a safe distance as a result of an accident at the Salmon Creek intersection of Egan Drive on Monday. The 16-year-old male driver of the Mazda Protg received the citation.
