Transit center workshop set

Silverbow introduces folk fest granola bar

In honor of the people in Juneau for the Alaska Folk Festival, the Silverbow Inn, Bakery and Catering announces a limited edition folk fest granola bar.

The bar, which is made of oats, brown sugar, cranberries and sunflower seeds, complements the all-natural baked goods made fresh daily at the Silverbow.

The bar is keeping with the spirit of folk fest, Silverbow owner Jill Ramiel said.

"We wanted to do something special to welcome all the folk fest participants to Juneau and to the Silverbow."

During folk fest, the Silverbow will be hosting a series of events, including the all-night jam slated for today and the third annual singer-songwriter showcase, scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

For more information, contact Ramiel at 586-4146.
