Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 20-year-old Devin Moorhouse on a drunken driving charge at 2:03 a.m. Tuesday on Julep Street near Autumn Court in the Mendenhall Valley. They also charged him with reckless endangerment and an underage drinking violation and lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft:

• A purse was reported stolen at 12:58 p.m. Monday from a shopping cart in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard in the Lemon Creek area.

• A boy's BMX-style bicycle was reported stolen at 2:20 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane.

• A wallet was reported stolen at 8:35 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue downtown.

• Three or four gas cans were reported stolen at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday in the 9900 block of Crazy Horse Drive near the airport.

Vehicle burglaries:

• The faceplate from the audio system in a 1993 Oldsmobile was reported stolen in the 300 block of West 11th Street downtown.

• The faceplate from the audio system on a 1991 Ford was reported stolen at 1:40 p.m. Monday near 10th and D streets downtown.

• At 10:53 a.m. Tuesday, a 1992 Subaru was reported to have been broken into in the 1300 block of Tarn Court in the Twin Lakes area.

• Gold earrings, 15 compact discs, a cell phone and $20 in quarters were reported stolen at 10:56 a.m. Tuesday from a 1993 Toyota Corolla in the 300 block of West Ninth Street downtown.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a 55-year-old man on a charge of failure to stop at a stop sign after an accident at 1:42 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Nowell Avenue in the Douglas area. He was driving a 2000 Ford truck that sustained an estimated $1,500 in damage. Damage to the other vehicle, a 1999 Ford truck driven by a 40-year-old man, also was estimated at $1,500.

Hit and run:

• At 6:54 p.m. Monday, a Dodge pickup was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at Fourth and Gold streets downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,300.
