Man found guilty of sex crime

KETCHIKAN - A jury has found a Metlakatla man guilty of attempting to sexually assault and sexually abuse a minor.

The Ketchikan Superior Court jury found Ronald Brendible innocent of more serious charges.

The 26-year-old man was accused in December of forcing a 15-year-old girl to have sex with him at her home in Metlakatla.

Brendible could receive from 15 to 30 years in prison.
