Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Police arrested a man, 37, on a larceny charge at 2:28 p.m. Monday in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A backpack and camera were reported stolen at 5:17 p.m. from a Jeep Cherokee in the 200 block of Marine Way downtown.

• A visor was reported stolen at 10:54 p.m. Monday from a Subaru in the 300 block of Whittier Street downtown.


• A man, 63, was placed under citizen's arrest on a trespassing charge at 4:02 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street. Police lodged him at the state prison.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a man, 19, on a charge of careless driving after the 1996 Jeep Cherokee he was driving reportedly struck a cement barrier in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway near the airport. Damage was estimated at $4,000 to the vehicle and $1,000 to the barrier.

Hit and run:

• At 6:04 p.m. Monday, a 2005 Toyota was reported struck by an unknown vehicle somewhere in the Juneau area.

• At 9:19 p.m. Monday, a 2000 Ford Expedition was reported struck by an unknown vehicle in the Aurora Harbor parking lot.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
