Part of a paragraph in Richard Gard's April 10 My Turn was left out. The paragraph should have read:
"Jeff Ottesen, Planning Division director for the DOT, estimates the cost (of the proposed Lynn Canal road) at $350 million. The road would be built over 12 years for 20 million per year to be adjusted upward by a four-percent inflation rate."
A story in Friday's Empire gave an incorrect time period in which the Marine Transportation Advisory Board had briefly gone out of existence. It was last year, not this year, that happened.
