ANCHORAGE - Searchers found the body of a Homer man who failed to arrive at a friend's cabin at Caribou Lake.

Bryan Farrow's body was located Friday by Civil Air Patrol search flight members. He had been reported missing on Tuesday. Friends from several groups mounted an extensive search of the area.

The 47-year-old man was an experienced outdoorsman and snowmachiner. He was last seen leaving a home near a trail head. He planned to ride his snowmachine about 20 miles to the friend's home.

It was not immediately clear what caused his death.
