Regents OK indigenous studies program

FAIRBANKS - University of Alaska Regents have approved a new doctoral program for indigenous studies.

The program was developed by the University of Alaska Fairbanks' School of Education and College of Rural and Community Development. It will be offered at the university's Fairbanks campus.

UAF officials hope to begin admitting students in the fall.
