FAIRBANKS - A Fairbanks man is in jail after his eighth drunken driving arrest since in 1975.

Authorities say that 56-year-old John R. Miller already has a lifetime suspension on his driver's license, but was again pulled over early Sunday for driving 67 mph on a 45 mph zone.

District Attorney Mike Gray says Miller's blood alcohol concentration was 0.307, almost four times the legal limit. As he was being pulled over, Miller crashed his car into a guardrail, and needed help to get out of his car.

The Fairbanks News-Miner reports Miller is being held on a $25,000 bail.
