Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Vehicle accidents:

• A 1988 Jeep Wrangler struck a parked 2005 Dodge truck in a two-car accident reported at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• A 2004 Ford struck a 2002 Ford in a two-car accident reported at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday near outbound Egan Drive and Whittier Street. The 2002 Ford sustained $5,500 in damage, while the 2004 Ford sustained $500 in damage.


• At 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, two 18-year-olds were cited for theft near West Willoughby Avenue.

• At 1:49 p.m. Wednesday, an 85-year-old woman reported a $1,000 woman's watch and a gold nugget were stolen sometime in December 2005 near Glacier Highway.

• At 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, $5.02 of gasoline was reported stolen near Glacier Highway.

• At 5:41 p.m. Wednesday, a 15-year-old boy reported a $330 portable Playstation and a $40 video game were stolen near Glacier Avenue.

• A 21-year-old girl reported at 9:32 p.m. Wednesday that her Jansport backpack was stolen near Trout Street. The pack contained three PSP games. A 21-year-old man was later arrested for the theft and the backpack was recovered. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 10:15 a.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old man reported $33.29 of fuel was stolen near West 10th Street.

• At 10:58 a.m. Thursday, a 41-year-old woman reported her Social Security card and birth certificate were stolen near Glacier Avenue.
