Her dance coach, Christa Baxter, says: "Andrea is a first-year dance team member. She has been very reliable throughout the whole sixth months of our season. I cannot remember a day that she has missed. She is always prepared and has a great attitude, with a smile always on her face. She is performing at 110 percent, not only during a performance but also at every practice. Andrea is very dedicated to her art and motivated to improve. With her strong attributes of being responsible, committed and hard working, she will not only succeed as a dancer but also in life. Andrea is a fun person to be around. She is not always so serious. During Region V Basketball Tournament Dance Team Competition, Andrea was very sick. I never heard her once complain, and when she was on the dance floor, you would have never known that she wasn't feeling well."
Upcoming gig: See Andrea perform with the Juneau-Douglas High School Dance Team at 7 p.m. tonight in the main gym at the high school.
