Aniak man dies in snowmachine crash

KALSKAG - A 32-year-old Aniak man died in a snowmachine crash that injured his passenger.

Alaska State Troopers said Floyd Nook sustained fatal head injuries in the accident near the village of Kalskag. The crash was reported early Sunday.

The passenger - 35-year-old Josephine Morgan of Aniak - sustained neck and leg injuries. Morgan was flown to Bethel for treatment.

Troopers said Nook and Morgan were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
