Anchorage student found with gun, arrested at school

ANCHORAGE - A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after police found a gun on him at school.

Police say the student was arrested Tuesday at Bartlett High School after acting on a tip received by a teacher.

The student was arrested when a handgun was found in his waistband. He was taken to McLaughlin Youth Center.

Officials say a second student has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
