ANCHORAGE - A 70-year-old Idaho man has been killed in one-car accident on the Seward Highway south of Anchorage.
Alaska State Troopers identified the victim of Tuesday's accident as Fred McMinn of Rexburg, Idaho.
Troopers spokeswoman Beth Ipsen says McMinn was a passenger in a pickup traveling northbound on the Seward Highway. Ipsen says it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle at Mile 104.
The pickup crossed the center line and rolled several times before coming to rest in trees on the opposite side of the road.
McMinn was ejected from the truck. Ipsen says he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver was hospitalized with injuries.
Troopers continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
