Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A man reported at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday that the front and back license plates from his Ford Van were stolen near Mallard Street in the airport area.

• A man reported at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday that Swiss-made carving tools were stolen near Industrial Boulevard. The tools were wrapped in brown canvas and worth $250.


• A man reported at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday that three windows had been broken out of three buses parked within the last month near Mt. Roberts Road.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 5:41 p.m. Tuesday that his unoccupied 1085 Ford truck was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene, somewhere near Glacier Highway.

• A woman reported at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday that her Ford Taurus was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime before March, somewhere in Juneau. She estimated damage at $2,400.

Lost property:

• A woman reported at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday that she lost her diamond solitaire ring downtown. She valued the ring at $3,000.
