Juneau resident Jonathan Scott Reyes, 18 months, died April 11, 2003, in Juneau.
He was born Sept. 8, 2001, in Juneau.
His family said, "Jonathan had a smile that would immediately brighten your day for anyone he came in contact with and was loved by everybody who knew him. He was such a handsome sweet boy who touched a lot of hearts just by seeing him."
He is survived by his mother, Lenora June Reyes of Juneau; brother, Anthony Reyes of Juneau; grandparents, Mary and Donald Reyes of Petersburg; aunts, Bridgette Reyes and Kimber Brown of Juneau; Joelle Reyes of Petersburg; his uncles, William Reyes of Juneau, Eugene Reyes of Anchorage, Walter Reyes of Paul, Idaho; cousins, Olen, Mary and Eric Nordgren, Dakota and Angela Brown and Krystal Reyes, all of Juneau; Christopher Reyes of Petersburg; Holly, Dustin and Tyler Reyes of Anchorage; Ryan and Jerry Reyes of California; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be William Reyes, Jeff Smith, Ean Aycock and Will Childress.
Honorary pallbearers include Donald Reyes, Eugene Reyes, Walter Reyes, Ole Nordgren, Rick Reyes, Teresa Germain, Amado Reyes, Dorothy Owen, Diane Kennedy, Joe Tagaban, Mike Tagaban, Pauline Young, Lenora Williams, May Kawata, Roberta Reyes, Loraine Fredrickson, Laura Fredrickson, Francine and Dirk Lee and Agnes D'Cafango.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall, 320 W. Willoughby. A reception will follow after the services; friends are welcome to bring a dish. Flowers can be delivered to the hall prior to services.
