Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Scott Allen Springs, 38, on a charge of drunken driving at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Mendenhall Loop Road at Glacier Spur Road. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving. Police also charged Springs with failing to carry proof of insurance and driving while his license had been revoked.

• Police arrested Warren Roger Sheakley III on a charge of drunken driving at 12:41 a.m. Thursday on Lee Smith Drive near the airport. They lodged him at the state prison.


• A man, 49, told police at 11:54 p.m. Wednesday that he was assaulted by a woman near South Franklin Street and Ferry Way.


• A man reported at 9:42 a.m. Thursday that someone had broken into his storage unit on Lawson Creek Road near Douglas. Nothing appeared to have been taken and damage was reported as minimal.


• Police cited a woman, 51, on a charge of larceny at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway.

• A man reported at 9:56 a.m. Thursday that the front piece of his mailbox, labeled with the mailing address, was taken from a home near Prospect Way in the Mendenhall Valley.


• A woman reported at 7:39 a.m. Thursday that her vehicle was scratched with a key near Douglas Highway. Damage was estimated at $750.

Vehicle accident:

• A 1981 Ford truck driven by a man, 18, allegedly struck a fence at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday on Pine Street near Patti Avenue in Lemon Creek. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,500. Damage to the fence was estimated at $200.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday that his Chevrolet Blazer was struck by an unknown vehicle at an unknown time and location. Damage was unknown.

Lost property:

• A woman reported at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday that she lost an amber beaded necklace that was connected to a silver eagle pendant with an amber stone inset, somewhere near Glacier Highway.

• A woman reported at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday that she lost a Black Hills gold ring. The ring was valued at $150.

Traffic stop:

• Police cited a boy, 17, on a charge of driving without a license at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday on Douglas Highway near John Street. They released him and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
