JUNEAU - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Health Promotion Department in Juneau, Lifestyle Balance Program and the Tlingít and Haida Regional Housing Authority will host a three-mile fun run/walk during the 63rd Annual General Assembly of the Central Council of the Tlingít and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska.
This event will start at 7:45 a.m. Saturday in front of the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall parking lot on Willoughby Avenue, and the event should be over by 8:45 (so delegates can be back at the General Assembly by 9 a.m.).
There will be light snacks and refreshments, and the first 50 people to register on site will receive a pedometer. All participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes. This event is free and open to everyone. For more information, contact Alan Travasso of SEARHC Health Promotion at 364-4458.
