JUNEAU - JobX, a program of The Learning Connection funded by a Youth First Initiative and the Department of Labor and Workforce Development Division of Business Partnerships, is seeking individuals 16-24 years old who are looking for a career.

JobX is designed to help youth get job-ready by placing them in paid work experiences in the field of their choice. JobX helps youth create a resume, does mock interviews and gives support while youth are on the job. The program also provides career counseling, including training options and "reality checks" on how to pursue specific careers.

Check it out at or call 586-5718 to find out more about JobX and how it can help you not only get a job - but a career.
