JUNEAU - The watchdog agency overseeing campaign disclosure in Alaska has a new executive director.
The Alaska Public Offices Commission selected Holly Roberson Hill from a field of 34 candidates.
Hill currently manages land sales and sets policy on land management issues for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources.
Before starting work with the state in 2000, Hill was an attorney in private practice. She also spent 20 years in military service, in the U.S. Army and the National Guard.
APOC Chairman Roger Holl said Hill stood out from the field because of her extensive legal, budgetary and managerial experience.
Hill replaces Brook Miles, who retired in March after 23 years with the agency, seven as its director.
Hill's job starts May 12.
