Juneau Tornadoes Wrestling Club -- The club hosts the Juneau Championship Wrestling Tournament, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School, finals will start about 3 p.m. This is a folkstyle wrestling tournament for athletes ages 5-18, with wrestlers from all over Southeast competing. Ongoing/Meetings

Juneau Parks and Recreation summer fields registration -- On Monday, April 9, the Juneau Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting reservations for the sportsfields at Dimond Park and Savikko Park for the period starting Friday, April 13, and continuing through the summer. The cost of the fields is $15 per hour and the price goes down for increased hours of usage. Reservations must be made at the Parks and Recreation office at City Hall and payment is needed at the time of the reservation. Info: Juneau Parks and Recreation, 586-5226.

Juneau Parks and Recreation springboard diving clinic -- This course teaches competitive springboard diving skills and concentrates on front and back approaches. It takes place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from April 12 through May 3, at Augustus G. Brown Pool. The cost of the clinic is $36.75. Info: Augustus G. Brown Pool, 586-5325.

Juneau Sports Association/Juneau-Douglas Officials Association softball rules clinic -- Men's and women's team meet at 6 p.m., coed teams meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, at the Juneau-Douglas High School library. The rules clinic will recap general JSA rules and regulations, plus introduce new American Softball Association rules for the 2001 season. Ultimate Players of Southeast Alaska league registration -- Registration is open for the first coed ultimate Frisbee summer league in Juneau, with games scheduled in May and June. A table will be set up at the Nugget Mall on Saturday, April 21, for more information. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park's football field, with a final tournament set for a Saturday in late June. The artificial turf field will also be reserved on Sunday nights for pick-up games and team practices. Fee is $20 to cover insurance and field rentals. Gastineau Channel Little League -- Registration is still being accepted for tee-ball and farm league players, ages 6-9.
