SBDC seminars next week
The Juneau Small Business Development Center offers classes on ``Writing a Business Plan: Your Blueprint for Success'' on April 25 and April 27, and on ``The New Age of Government Contracting: E-Commerce'' on April 26.
The business plan seminar, 6-9 p.m. both evenings, is intended to help would-be entrepreneurs develop a winning loan proposal, plan growth and analyze profitability. Free counseling and review of business plans are available after the class, which costs $35.
Michelle Mulholland of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers of Alaska will conduct the other seminar, which is aimed at businesses that sell to the government. Mulholland will talk about electronic applications used by federal, state and local agencies, and will provide a free resource disc with government sites bookmarked. The seminar, which costs $15, is from 3-5 p.m.
All seminars will be held in the third floor conference room of the Juneau Empire building. More information is available from the SBDC at 463-3789.
