Juneau boys, Sitka girls split titles in Sitka Invitational track meet

The Juneau boys and Sitka girls claimed titles in the Sitka Invitational track meet held Friday and Saturday at Sitka's Moller Field.

The Juneau boys scored 113.5 points to outdistance runner-up Sitka's 75. Petersburg took third place with 33.5 points, while Ketchikan and Mount Edgecumbe tied for fourth place with seven points each.

In the girls meet, the host Wolves won with 103.5 points. The Juneau girls took second place with 57.5 points, while Petersburg was third with 32, Ketchikan took fourth with 28 and Mount Edgecumbe was fifth with seven points.
