Adamson, Meyer to wed
Shannon Meyer, of Lancaster, Calif., and Nicholas Adamson, of Placentia, Calif., will marry at 3 p.m. on May 25, 2008, in Catalina Island (Emerald Bay), Calif. A reception will follow.
The bride is the daughter of Brad and Donna Meyer. A graduate of California Maritime Academy, she is a third mate for the Alaska Marine Highway System.
The groom is the son of Jim and Laurie Adamson. A graduate of California Maritime Academy, he is a second mate for the Alaska Marine Highway System.
The matron of honor will be Dara Harper. Bridesmaids will be the bride's sister-in-law, Ann Meyer, and Alexys Nielsen. Sahlome Augustin will be the flower girl.
The bestman will be Erik Cutforth. Groomsmen will be the bride's brother, Ryan Meyer, and John Davis.
The couple will make their home in Juneau.
