Douglases celebrate 30 years

Donald and Joyce Douglas, of Juneau, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this weekend at Pearson's Pond. They will further celebrate this summer when they visit family and friends in Arizona and Texas.

The couple was married April 26, 1979, at the Post Chapel while serving on active duty with the Army at Fort Greely.

Don is proprietor of Don Douglas Photography in Juneau. Joyce is a data processing manager with the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development. She also teaches graduate-level classes in project management for the University of Alaska Anchorage and enjoys playing organ for services at Chapel by the Lake.

Don and Joyce first came to Alaska in the 1970s and have made their home in Juneau since 1992 with their sons, Ross and Scot Douglas.
