ANCHORAGE - Officials with the Anglo American mining company can expect a visit next week in London from opponents of the Pebble Mine.
A group of Alaskans opposed to developing the mine near the headwaters of Bristol Bay plan to address company executives and shareholders at the annual meeting next Thursday.
A contingent from Alaskan met last year with Anglo American CEO Cynthia Carroll.
The group, which includes former Alaska Senate president Rick Halford, commercial fishermen and Native leaders, have sent a letter to Carroll asking for another meeting with company executives while in London next week.
The group says it hasn't heard back yet.
