Juneau-Douglas High School girls soccer -- The Crimson Bear girls host the Ketchikan Kings, 8 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.

Saturday, April 21

Juneau-Douglas High School boys soccer -- The Crimson Bear boys host the Ketchikan Kings, 10 a.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park; the Crimson Bear boys also host the Chugiak Mustangs, 6 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.

Juneau-Douglas High School girls soccer -- The Crimson Bear girls host the Ketchikan Kings, noon at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.

Juneau Tornadoes Wrestling Club -- The club hosts the Juneau Championship Wrestling Tournament, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School, finals will start about 3 p.m. This is a folkstyle wrestling tournament for athletes ages 5-18, with wrestlers from all over Southeast competing. Juneau Archery Club -- Indoor Safari and Turkey Shoot, meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Floyd Dryden Middle School gym. Event is a fund-raiser for the Floyd Dryden Archery Club's trip to the Western Classic Trail Shoot 3-D National Championship event in Redding, Calif., on May 5-6. Ongoing/Meetings

Ultimate Players of Southeast Alaska league registration -- Registration is open for the first coed ultimate Frisbee summer league in Juneau, with games scheduled in May and June. A table will be set up at the Nugget Mall on Saturday, April 21, for more information. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park's football field, with a final tournament set for a Saturday in late June. The artificial turf field will also be reserved on Sunday nights for pick-up games and team practices. Fee is $20 to cover insurance and field rentals. Gastineau Channel Little League preseason managers and coaches meetings -- Mandatory meetings to go over rules, procedures and opening day for all managers and coaches. Farm and tee-ball baseball and softball leagues meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at Riverbend School library. Kluane-Chilkat International Bicycle Relay packets available -- Entry packets for the Ninth Annual Kluane to Chilkat International Bicycle Relay will be available in Juneau at Mountain Gears, Foggy Mountain Shop and the valley Juneau Racquet Club by April 20. The 156-mile relay is held on Saturday, June 16. It starts in Haines Junction, Yukon Territory, and ends in Haines, Alaska, and is for teams of one, two, four and eight riders. Application forms are also available on the Internet at http://www.hainesak.com/bikerelay/. The entry fee is $34 per rider, which includes a t-shirt, post-race dinner and awards breakfast. Adult soccer scrimmages -- Open scrimmages for adults age 18 and older are being held from 5-7 p.m. every Sunday from April 22 through June 24 at the Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park football field. For more information, contact the Capital City Soccer League, 364-2503.

Juneau Soccer Club tryouts -- Tryouts for players ages 11-17 will be held on Sunday, April 22, and Sunday, April 29, for the 2001 JSC season. The following tryouts will take place at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park -- U12/U13 boys at 9:30-11 a.m., U16/U17 girls from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., U12/U13 girls at 12:30-2 p.m., U14/U15 girls at 2-3:30 p.m. and U14/U15 boys at 3:30-5 p.m. Tryouts for U16/U17 boys are 2-3:30 p.m. at Dimond Park.
