Juneau resident Diane Ruth Fawcett, 41, died April 10, 2004.
She was born July 20, 1962, in Juneau to Nicholas and Lillian Fawcett Sr. She attended the Hoonah Public School and Juneau-Douglas High School, graduating in 1979. She has resided in Juneau for 28 years. She was a homemaker.
Her family said she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, picking berries and was "a kind-hearted person we will all miss."
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Diana Rose Austin, Jennifer Marie Wright, Bradley Wilson Wright and Michael Paul Wright; ex-husband, Richard Wright, all of Juneau; brothers Nicholas (Betty Charles) Fawcett, Darryl Bruce Fawcett of Juneau; sisters; Johana Austin, Laverne Fawcett, Darlene (Pete Costello) Fawcett, Bernadine (Charles) Jackson, Valerie Fawcett, Nicolette (Jim) Arnold; and significant other, Russell Cee.
Pallbearers were Joel Charles, Clifford Squartsoff, Doug Flake, Walter Jewell, Sam Williard and Leroy Marvin. Honorary pallbearers are Peter Marvin, Philip Sharclane, Frank Sharclane, Shayne Morris, Frank Koenig and Frank Fawcett.
Services were held at the Tlingit and Haida Community Center on Monday, April 19.
