Police charge Kenai man with sex abuse

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police say a Kenai church youth leader has been charged with sexually molesting a young boy.

Richard Wagner, 46, already was under investigation for possessing child pornography.

He was charged Friday with sexual assault of a minor.

Detective Sergeant Rod Tidler says investigators found out about Wagner's pornography collection in January when a Pennsylvania state trooper saw clips on a peer-to-peer file sharing Web site.

Kenai and Anchorage police, Alaska State Troopers and FBI agents executed a search warrant Thursday at Wagner's home.

Investigators also interviewed children who had stayed at Wagner's home. One accused Wagner of sexually abusing him.
