JUNEAU - The Coast Guard rescued five fishermen after their boat sank near Ketchikan.
Coast Guard officials said crew from the 58-foot Seafarer called for help early Thursday morning, saying they were taking on water about 35 miles northeast of Ketchikan.
The five-member crew abandoned ship in an 18-foot skiff.
The Coast Guard said all five were rescued, and one was taken to a hospital because of a back injury. Officials said the Seafarer is from Klawock.
