ANCHORAGE - The final results from April 7 confirm there will be a runoff for mayor between Republican Dan Sullivan and Democrat Eric Croft.
According to the Anchorage Daily News, with all votes counted, including the 5,100 absentee ballots, Sullivan pulled in 43.38 percent of the 58,000 votes. That's shy of the 45 percent he would have needed to win the election outright.
Croft, his closest challenger ended with 19.63 percent.
The runoff is scheduled for May 5.
