Keep sex offender out

Letter to the editor

I do not know why the Lions Club would let a convicted sex offender work the doors at the Gold Medal tournament this year and have contact with all the children who walked through the doors. Maybe they just didn't know about him.

I was disgusted to see him at the gym and he should not have been allowed to be in the school. What were they thinking?

The Juneau Lions Club needs to get a clue or start checking who they are employing. Also, the Juneau-Douglas High School needs to start paying attention to who they are letting in the school.

I sure hope the Lions Club members will read this and do something about it because it would be a great disappointment if he is able to continue to work for them in the years to come.
