Gold Town Nickelodeon will host a special showing of "Before Tomorrow," this weekend, a film that will run concurrently with "The Art of the Steal."
Showtimes are 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
"Before Tomorrow" has been nominated for nine Canadian Genie Awards, including best picture, best director, best actress, best actor, best adapted screenplay, and best art direction, and for four Quebec Jutra Award nominations.
The film tells the story of a woman who demonstrates that human dignity is at the core of life from beginning to end, as she faces with her grandson the ultimate challenge of survival.
A co-production of Igloolik Isuma Productions and Kunuk Cohn Productions, "Before Tomorrow" is the first feature film written and directed by Igloolik's Arnait Video Productions women's collective, which has been filming Inuit women's stories since 1991.
