Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Snuffy Jones, 22, was arrested for drunken driving, a misdemeanor, at 4:32 a.m. Tuesday near Gold Street. He also was charged with refusing to submit to a breath test and driving without a valid driver's license, both misdemeanors. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary:

• Damage was reported to a door of a residence at 7:28 p.m. Monday near Fifth Street in Douglas. An unknown person attempted to pry the door open, but the residence was not entered.

• A shed was reported broken into at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday near Industrial Boulevard. Estimated damage to the shed door was $20.

Thefts:

• Police cited a man, 30, for concealing merchandise at 7:52 p.m. Monday near Yandunkin Drive.

• Waterproof binoculars and a folding Benchmade pocket knife were reported stolen at 11:47 a.m. Tuesday from an undisclosed location. The items are valued at $120.

• Police arrested a girl, 16, for concealing merchandise at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway. She later was released.

Underage drinking:

• A man, 20, was cited for underage drinking at 12:47 a.m. Tuesday near University Drive.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 37, for failure to yield and for driving without a valid license following a two-vehicle accident at 4:38 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. A 1987 Ford Escort, driven by the woman, struck a 1998 Toyota, driven by a woman, 35. Police did not have a damage estimate.

• Police cited a man, 42, for failure to yield after a stop following a two-vehicle accident at 5:15 p.m. Monday near Old Dairy Road and Glacier Highway. A 1993 Chevy Caprice struck a 2001 Dodge pickup truck, driven by a man, 39. Both vehicles sustained $3,000 in damage.

• A 2002 Honda Civic, driven by a woman, 38, struck a fence at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday near North Franklin Street. The vehicle sustained $3,000 damage; the fence sustained minor damage. Police were not available to say whether the woman was cited for the accident.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was sighted at 9:37 p.m. Monday near Mendenhall Mall Road and Cinema Drive.

Other:

• Police arrested a man, 40, for criminal trespass at 11:58 p.m. Monday near Second Street in Juneau. He also was charged with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Both charges are misdemeanors. He was lodged at the state prison. Police said alcohol contributed to this incident.

• A man, 33, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors, at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday near Franklin and Front Streets. He was lodged at the state prison. Police said alcohol was a factor in this incident.

Crime Line

Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for a burglary at the Petro Express field office at Trucano Landing near the Douglas Bridge. A safe was pried open and about $592 in cash was stolen.
