Judy Hall helps her granddaughter, Jadyn, 6, tie a quilt together Tuesday evening at Glacier Valley Elementary School. Fourth-grader Charlie Johnson, 10, helps, too. Sixteen quilts and a number of wall hangings are the product of this year's Art Tuesday, the school's volunteer-based art project. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade worked with teachers and community volunteers to cut and sew the quilts by hand. The Great Glacier Valley Quilt Auction & Talent Show will be held Friday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the school. Proceeds will go to pay for next year's art program.
