Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Missing person:

• At about 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a request to locate a 17-year-old girl.

Suicidal subject:

• At about 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a report of a suicidal subject in the Juneau area.


• At about 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday, a 71-year-old man reported two handcarts stolen in the 5300 block of Shaune Drive.

• At about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a 20-year-old man was arrested for attempted theft in the second degree and theft in the third degree in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At about 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a 27-year-old man reported $48.82 of fuel stolen in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

• At about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, a 34-year-old woman reported a headband and medication were stolen from her unlocked Toyota in the 6700 block of Gray Street.

• At about 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, a 51-year-old man reported his 2004 Saturn and 1998 Subaru were entered and several items stolen in the 1000 block of Bonnie Doon Drive.

• At about 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday, an 18-year-old woman reported her 1999 Subaru was entered and an iPod and an iTrip were stolen in the 1000 block of Wee Burn Drive.

Traffic stop:

• At about 1:35 a.m. on Wednesday, a 19-year-old man was cited and released for driving without a license on Mendenhall Loop Road.


• At about 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday, a 65-year-old man reported a broken window at his business in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Vehicle accident:

• At about 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a 27-year-old man was cited for failure to yield after the 1998 Chevrolet he was driving was involved in an accident with a 2003 Toyota driven by a 32-year-old man on Shell Simmons Drive.
