Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Driving while intoxicated:
About 4:30 p.m. Monday, Craig Nelson, 40, was arrested for drunken driving on Egan Drive outbound. He also was charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
About 1:30 a.m. today, Richard Carle, 32, was arrested on Egan Drive outbound near Norway Point for drunken driving. He also was charged with refusal to provide a breath sample. He was lodged at state prison.
Thefts, lost and found property:
Shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, a woman, 33, reported losing her blue billfold-style wallet in a business parking lot on Egan Drive on April 18. The wallet contained miscellaneous cards and $60 cash.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, a woman, 30, reported misplacing her channel-set diamond ring sometime during the past 10 days. The ring is valued at $300.
About 2:30 p.m. Monday, a woman, 73, reported theft from her vehicle on Glacier Highway sometime Monday morning. Missing were a purse, camera case, knitting bag and Minolta binoculars.
About 2:30 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a fire alarm at Johnson Youth Center. Workers accidentally had activated the alarm.
About 3:17 p.m. Monday, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to an open burn complaint near the Juneau Airport. There was no significant damage.
About 7:50 p.m. Monday, Capital City responded to an open burn complaint from Eaglewood Apartments. A smoky barbecue was the cause of the concern.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
About 1 p.m. Monday, a man, 28, reported his 1998 Ford Explorer keyed two separate times over the last two weekends while parked at the same location on Willoughby Avenue. Damage to surfaces was estimated at $1,900.
About 9 a.m. Monday, a woman, 43, reported her green 1995 Mercury Mystique was hit-and-run while parked on Long Run Drive on Saturday at 7 p.m. There were no leads or suspects.
About 7:15 a.m. Monday, a man, 48, was cited on Egan Drive inbound for driving while his license was revoked. His vehicle was left parked. He was released.
