Did I hear Rep. Jay Ramras correctly? Did he actually say those who voted for the cruise ship initiative needed to learn the same tolerance as those who drop bills into the hopper and watch them get amended?

His logic escapes me. A person or a handful of sponsors of a bill expect the system to process, filter and amend their ideas. Those who participate in a vote of the people shouldn't tolerate their ideas to be so amended. Especially by a small committee unduly influenced by special interest lobbyists. Such an override would support tyranny.
Teaching tolerance of tyranny makes Ramras part of the problem - not part of the solution.
