Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Jeremiah Engen, 23, was arrested about 1:15 a.m. today on Egan Drive for drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.10 percent. Three passengers - two 18 and one 19 - were cited for underage drinking. Engen was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The passengers were released at the scene.


A woman reported Monday that her black leather purse and jacket were stolen Friday night at the Penthouse bar downtown.

A woman on Eagle Street reported at 11:15 a.m. Monday that sunglasses, a CD and a Sony radar detector were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

A woman on Stikine Street reported about noon Monday that her car CD player was stolen from her unlocked car Sunday night.

A woman on Meadow Lane reported about 1 p.m. Monday that her unlocked car was rifled and minor items taken.

A man reported about 5:30 p.m. Monday from Glacier Highway that his red Mongoose mountain bicycle was stolen.

A woman, 61, was cited about midnight Monday on Foster Avenue for theft of services for refusing to pay a cab fare. She was released.


A man, 26, was arrested about 4 p.m. Monday on Fourth and Franklin streets on a police warrant for failing to appear at a hearing on an animal cruelty charge. He was lodged at state prison.

A man, 53, was cited about 4:15 p.m. Monday at Third and Seward streets for driving with a revoked license. He was released, and the vehicle was released to another driver.
