Zack Anderson and Chris Hinkley each earned state titles in the slalom at the Alaska State Alpine Ski Championships in Fairbanks March 26-April 1.
The championships, which rotate every year between Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau, include skiers aged nine through 12.
Juneau's Donny Peterson skied third in the giant slalom and fifth in the slalom to earn third-place overall honors in the 11-12 boys age group.
Erika Horst (11-12 girls) placed second in both the GS and slalom and was second overall.
In the aged 9-10 group, Gabby Wahto placed third overall after skiing second in the GS and fourth in the slalom. Avery Anderson tallied third place in the slalom and fourth in the giant slalom to finish fourth overall.
