Night lights

Posted: Friday, April 25, 2003

The Aurora Borealis puts on a show over the forests of North Douglas Island early Thursday morning. The lights were visible over most of the Juneau area between midnight and 2 p.m., with waves and arcs of green visible to night owls. Moderate to active displays are predicted for the next few nights, and a forecast of mostly clear skies should allow for good viewing.
