Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Veronica Hoyle, 42, at 10:30 p.m. Thursday near Main Street on a charge of drunken driving. The vehicle she was driving was impounded and she was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Underage drinking:

• At 3:30 a.m. Friday near Dimond Park police cited a boy, 16, and a girl, 17, on a charge of underage drinking. A man, 21, was cited on a charge of furnishing the alcohol. All were released.

• At 4:30 a.m. Friday near Glacier Highway and Lemon Creek police cited a woman, 20, for underage drinking. She was released.

Domestic disputes:

• Police arrested a man, 34, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 9:44 a.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested a man, 22, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 11:49 a.m. Friday in the Douglas area. They lodged him at the state prison.


• A man reported at 7:14 a.m. Friday that $37 was stolen in a burglary near West 10th Street downtown. The burglary did $600 in damage to his door.


• A man reported at 7:32 p.m. Thursday that his compact disc player, some CDs and articles of clothing were stolen from him near Kanat'a Street in the Mendenhall Valley.

• A woman reported at 8:30 a.m. Friday that her black vinyl purse containing $10 in cash was stolen was stolen near Willoughby Avenue downtown.

• A woman reported at 4:45 p.m. Friday that her silver Nokia cellphone, valued at $160, was stolen somewhere in Juneau.

• A woman reported at 9:19 a.m. Friday that $30 was stolen from her son's locker near Glacier Avenue downtown.


• Police arrested a man, 35, on a criminal trespass charge at 7:24 p.m. Thursday. They lodged him at the state prison.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 7:49 p.m. Thursday, a 1996 Ford truck driven by a man, 64, reportedly struck a fire hydrant at Front and Seward streets downtown.

• A 1994 Subaru sustained about $1,000 in damage in an accident reported at 4:55 a.m. Friday on outbound Egan Drive near Vanderbilt Hill Road. Police reported that the driver, a man, 20, fell asleep and lost control of the car.

• At 1 a.m. Thursday on North Douglas Highway a 1999 Mazda driven by a man, 41, struck a 1995 Toyota, no driver given. The Mazda had $3,800 in damage, the Toyota $1,000 in damage
