Dorothy Gould, a traffic control supervisor for Secon, sets out traffic cones and signs Monday at the Sunny Point intersection on Egan Drive. The intersection will be closed for the duration of the $27 million upgrade, which will create the city's first underpass and make it quicker to drive downtown from Fred Meyer store. The project is scheduled for completion this fall. The traffic speed is reduced to 45 mph in the construction area.
