The Juneau Jazz and Classics Community Day on Campus, which was listed in the Around Town for April 24, will actually be held on May 24.
A front-page story on the city's electricity expenses in Thursday's Juneau Empire listed the incorrect cost for the Juneau Public Works Department to pump water. Under the recent electricity rate hike, the city spends an estimated $1.20 per 300 gallons of water pumped through homes and businesses, which is then pumped through the treatment facility as waste.
