Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

David Wayne Stout, 37, was arrested at 1:49 p.m. Thursday near Vintage Boulevard for drunken driving. He also was charged with reckless endangerment and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Police arrested 39-year-old John Holland for drunken driving and driving with a suspended or revoked license at 7:10 p.m. Thursday near North Douglas Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

Travis Wolfe, 24, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:37 a.m. today near Vanderbilt Hill. He also was charged with driving with a suspended license, resisting arrest, misconduct involving a controlled substance, failure to stop at the direction of a police officer and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was lodged at the state prison.


A woman reported at 10:28 a.m. Thursday from Kennedy Adair Park that $250 worth of candy was taken from the concession stand at the park.

A man reported at 1:37 p.m. Thursday from Glacier Avenue that his wallet was stolen from his pants pocket which were in an unlocked locker. The wallet contained miscellaneous cards and no cash. Police have no leads or suspects.

Animal encounters:

A Juneau resident reported at 12:32 a.m. today from Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek a bear eating garbage. The report was forwarded to a litter officer.


A 27-year-old woman and a man, 22, were cited and released for being intoxicated on a licensed premises at 11:51 p.m. Thursday near West Willoughby Avenue.
