Thanks for comfort during the loss of Mack Nakamura Sr.

Posted: Sunday, April 26, 2009

Our thanks to family and friends of Hoonah, Angoon, Juneau, Haines and Wrangell - if we forgot anybody, please forgive us - from the Nakamura daughters of Hoonah, Maxine, Josephine, BettyAnn, Corrina and Joann.

For when we were in sorrow for the loss of our beloved dad Mack Nakamura Sr.

Special thanks to Dr. Owen and Dr. Peterson who took really good care of my dad for a very long time. And to the doctors who were on duty when my dad's doctors were off work. Also, thanks to the nurses who worked on taking good care of our dad while in the hospital.

My sisters of Hoonah would like to thank everyone who stopped by the hospital and brought by some food while we were by my dad.

Also, thanks to all who did a prayer for my dad and his daughters of Hoonah, and for the phone calls from family and friends who couldn't make it to see Dad.

My dad will be missed by all who knew him. He touched everyone's heart. We will never forget that smile he always had; even when he was in pain, he still had that smile.

We love you, Dad. We will never forget you, and you will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again, Dad. Love you always from your daughters of Hoonah.
